Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, registering, or using the KaamAdda app or website (www.kaamadda.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users — including job posters (clients) and registered workers.

2. What KaamAdda Is

KaamAdda is a free connection platform that helps:

• Clients find skilled local workers for their jobs
• Workers get discovered by clients near them

KaamAdda is NOT an employer, staffing agency, or service provider. We do not hire workers, pay workers, or take any commission from any transaction. We provide the connection only — all work agreements, payments, and arrangements are made directly between the client and the worker.

3. Eligibility

To use KaamAdda you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide a valid Indian mobile phone number
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Not have had a previous KaamAdda account terminated for violations

4. Account Registration & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (phone number, password, OTP codes).
• Never share your OTP with anyone. KaamAdda will never ask for your OTP via phone call, SMS, or email.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at kaamadda.help@gmail.com.
• One person may register only one account. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.

5. Worker Registration

Workers registering on KaamAdda agree that:

• All information provided — name, skills, experience, location, category — is accurate and not misleading.
• Profile photos and work sample photos uploaded are genuine and represent your actual work.
• You are legally eligible to offer the services listed.
• You understand your phone number will be displayed publicly on your profile for clients to contact you directly.
• KaamAdda reserves the right to remove any profile found to be fake, misleading, or abusive.

6. Posting Work / Jobs

Users posting work or job requirements agree that:

• The job description is genuine and accurately describes the work required.
• You will not post spam, duplicate listings, or misleading jobs.
• Work posts are reviewed by the platform and may be removed if they violate these terms.
• Your contact number may be visible to workers who view or apply to your listing.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use KaamAdda to:

• Post false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any user or worker
• Impersonate any person or organisation
• Post illegal content or solicit illegal services
• Attempt to access, scrape, or extract platform data
• Send spam messages to workers or clients
• Offer or accept bribes, illegal payments, or money laundering
• Discriminate against any person based on religion, caste, gender, or region

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

8. Platform Conduct — No Guarantees

KaamAdda connects users and workers but does not:

• Verify or vouch for the skills, qualifications, or background of any worker listed on the platform
• Guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of any service provided by a worker
• Mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between clients and workers
• Guarantee continuous platform availability (we aim for 99% uptime but may have maintenance windows)

You are responsible for your own due diligence before hiring or engaging with any worker. We recommend checking reviews, asking questions, and agreeing on scope and payment before work begins.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KaamAdda shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Any agreement, dispute, or transaction between a client and a worker
• The quality or outcome of any service arranged through the platform
• Loss of data, income, or business opportunity
• Any conduct of any user on or off the platform

Your use of KaamAdda is entirely at your own risk.

10. Content Ownership & License

• You retain full ownership of any content you post on KaamAdda (profile photos, work photos, job descriptions).
• By posting content, you grant KaamAdda a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform and in marketing materials related to KaamAdda's services.
• You confirm that you own or have the right to share any content you post, and that it does not infringe any third-party copyright.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community standards.

11. Account Deletion & Termination

You may delete your account at any time:

• Mobile app: Settings → Delete Account
• Web: Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account (www.kaamadda.com/users/profile?tab=privacy-security)

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

KaamAdda reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account — without prior notice — for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour
• Repeated complaints from other users
• Any conduct that damages the platform or its community

12. Free Platform — No Fees

KaamAdda is and will remain free for all users and workers. We do not charge:

• Registration fees
• Listing fees
• Commission on any work or payment
• Subscription charges

If this ever changes, registered users will be notified in advance with a minimum of 30 days' notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our platform or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted at: www.kaamadda.com/terms-of-service with the revision date.

Continued use of KaamAdda after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of KaamAdda shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We encourage users to first contact us to resolve any concerns informally before pursuing legal action.
